Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Fireconduit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

Fireconduit is a SaaS tool for triggering Firestore → BigQuery backfills via Google Cloud Dataflow. We provide a dashboard for managing pipelines, triggering backfill jobs, and monitoring job status.

Account Registration

To use Fireconduit, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Send spam or unsolicited communications through the Service
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise our systems
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
• Use the Service in a way that could damage our reputation

Subscription and Payment

Fireconduit offers paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable fees for your chosen plan
• Provide accurate billing information
• Automatic renewal at the end of each billing period unless cancelled

Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial, you will be automatically enrolled in a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.

Cancellation and Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months, but you will retain access until your paid period ends.

Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you upload to Fireconduit. By using the Service, you grant us a licence to store, process, and display your data as necessary to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

GCP Dataflow Costs

You are responsible for all costs incurred by Google Cloud Dataflow jobs triggered through Fireconduit. We charge a flat monthly subscription fee (£50/month) for access to the platform, but you pay your own GCP costs directly to Google. We are not responsible for unexpected Dataflow charges.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or experience downtime. We will endeavour to provide notice of planned maintenance.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fireconduit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fireconduit from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, fail to pay fees, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
